William T. Lewis, Jr. (WTL, Jr.) Scholarship Fund, Inc. Application
The William T. Lewis, Jr. (WTL, Jr.) Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial assistance to students from single-parent/guardian households who are determined to make a difference in the world.
This year the WTL, Jr. Scholarship Board is pleased to offer scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 for seniors graduating from Brunswick High School who plan to attend an accredited four year university or college. Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) and be from a single parent/guardian home. Applicants will be selected based on academic achievement, demonstration of leadership skills, and community involvement.

All applications must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2025 for consideration. If any item or portion of the application is missing, the entire application will be disqualified.
Requirements
To be considered for a scholarship, you must submit:

A completed application, signed by the student, parent/guardian and school guidance counselor

An official high school transcript with SAT/ACT scores

Two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from a school official/teacher; the other a personal reference from an adult who is not a relative (ex. Church official, employer, family friend, etc)

Your type-written, double-spaced 200-300 word essay
Please note, if selected you must submit proof of acceptance and registration to an accredited four-year university or college.
